In honor of Danielle’s due date, I’m sharing her maternity teasers. She is one beautiful and sexy pregnant woman as evidenced by the photos
(Here’s hoping these teasers make that baby want to make an apperance!)
Happy Due Date!
I always say that I cry at every wedding I attend, even the ones that I photograph. I usually get misty at some point during the speeches and maybe the vows. I wasn’t expecting to almost sob when Jen and Allan’s oldest daughter saw her dad before the ceremony, ran into his arms and yelled “Happy Wedding Day Daddy!!!” Yep, I needed a tissue after that.
The ceremony site, Mackie Lake house in Vernon BC http://www.mackiehouse.ca/ an absolute dream to photograph
The girls sneaking a peek at the ceremony before it started
Allan and his adorable flowergirl (and Daughter!)
I like to think that the men usually keep their sunglasses on so that we don’t see them crying
The new Mr. and Mrs. Phelan!
Jen’s fab siblings! Big shout out to the both of them for being very helpful whenever I had a question
Watching Jen try and get into this car was hilarious…note the bars on the inside of the car….
During the time that we should have been taking photos, it was pouring. Not just a little bit of rain, I mean POURING. So we went inside for a few bevys and a break. Note that a mommy’s job is never done, even when she is a bride
Once that very large cloud passed us we had some beautiful bright blue sky!
I love a bride in Cowboy Boots.
And then as soon as the reception started…..this happened…
After dinner we snuck out to take more photos that we couldn’t get due to the rain
Are they not adorable?
Congratulations to a great couple, and new friends
On a beautiful day in May, I photographed Jen and Justin’s beautiful wedding. The ceremony was held at the Belgo Wedding Chapel and the reception was at their house. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Jen had some very lovely and heartfelt things to say about Justin and her relationship. It’s very obvious that they are very much in love with each other and grateful that they have each other to lean on. It was fabulous to witness two best friends exchange vows.
Jen has some wonderful girlfriends who were incredibly excited for her.
How adorable is Jen’s youngest praying? So cute.
Their beautiful family…..Justin will be forever surrounded by women
Jen is a master planker
And my favourite picture….
On July 10th I met up with Siona and Jeff for their anniversary Trash the Dress shoot. We realized that I’ve photographed them 3 times…ALWAYS been in the same spot Kind of fitting non?
Here’s to Jeff and Siona on their 1 year wedding anniversary! (CLICK HERE to see their Wedding Post!)
Could she be any more beautiful!?!?! My lord Jeff is a lucky man
Oh yes. This happened.
My cousin Kerina is due to have her first baby in September. She lives about 12 hours from me so when she came for a visit we made plans to take some pictures of that beautiful belly. Not only does Kerina photograph like a dream, she was perfectly pregnant We had way too much fun out in the grass, and I’m ashamed to say I may have clung to her arm for dear life when I saw a snake (Did you get any bruises Kerina?). Seriously if it had been coming toward us I would have ditched her and just ran. I’m the worst.
Big thank you goes out to our Auntie Sheila for (once again) letting me use her property for photos
Hands down, the photo on the left will be on my new MOO business cards.
Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous!
Growing up Kerina and I always got mistaken for twins. I never saw it. She’s like 3 feet taller than me, totally different body shapes, she has brown eyes, I have blue eyes (I mean, we’re both beautiful, but c’mon)…It wasn’t until I saw the picture on the right on my computer that I was like “HOLY CRAP! WE DO LOOK ALIKE!”
Horses just seem to find me. I must have a gift.
Congratulations Kerina and Lance! I can’t wait to meet him/her! I know you two will make fantastic parents.
