I’ve taken family photos for the Pukls for the past 2 years and this year I heard from the oldest, Zoe that she wanted to do a mini session as a surprise Christmas gift to her mom. So we conspired to meet up as soon as possible. She pulled her siblings out of school (the youngest was NOT happy with this decision!) and we had an absolute blast in the cold
Zoe texted me on Christmas Day that her mom cried when she opened her gift. So I did too
The Prukls also run an AMAZING catering company. http://www.gumtreecatering.com/

Brandon and Chelsea are such a fantastic couple that the only thing that comes to mind is the lyrics to Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away”
I say, Cowboy take me away
Fly this girl as high as you can
Into the wild blue
Set me free oh I pray, closer to Heaven above and
Closer to you, closer to you.

No stranger to the blog, it’s my favourite family! The Barkers! You can see their past posts HERE and for some REALLY old ones go HERE . I love watching these babies grow and seeing two wonderful people be such amazing parents. And Julianna spilled the beans that this year there will be another little Barker to photograph too
Lots of love to the Barkers!

I worked with the lovely Sara early 2011, and I was so happy when she asked me to take her engagement pictures. We went to Kal Park in Vernon BC and due to my fantastic directional skills, we hiked way more than we should. Oops…But because of that we found this gorgeous spot. Happy accidents I tell ya!!!
James loves her. He REALLY loves her. She’s a lucky woman.
Congratulations to Sara and James.

Once again, one of my favourite families is back on the blog! And with Jessie sporting an adorable baby bump to boot, I knew this was going to be one fabulous shoot. We went to my aunt farm because of the rustic feeling…I didn’t account for the fact that my uncles had moved the cows and our prime location was now covered in cow dung. Thank goodness Jessie is a go with the flow type person. I do apologize for the mess on your baby girls’ shoes!

Oh these two…it’s hard not to smile and ‘awwww’ around them. They are very much in love. It’s too friggin adorable for words. So I’ll let the pictures do the talking. I’m just THRILLED to be the one who gets to capture their wedding day in June.

I’m in love with Madison and Alex’s wedding. The details were amazing. She’s a woman after my own heart-she made all of the details herself. The plates are by far my favourite. Not only were the details fabulous, but so was the whole entire wedding. Everything from the wedding party, to the location and the guests, everyone was all smiles, happy to be celebrating Madi and Alex’s marriage.
I had such a great time capturing their wedding day. Wishing you two a long and happy life together

On September 3rd my beautiful cousin married one of the best guys I’ve ever met. As my older cousin I absolutley idolized Niki growing up. I suppose I still do, so it was an absolute honour to be there to capture their wedding day. The wedding was absolutely perfect and Niki was stunning! No surprise here, but I got teary when she put on her dress. So heres to a fantastic couple! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness xoxox

On the left: The bridesmaids reaction to seeing Niki in her gown for the first time. Right: I believe the exact quote was “Holy F*** THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!”

They did it!!! They’re married!!!

Shout out to my amazing 2nd shooter Amanda at The Houston Spot for snapping this one of Niki and I

Once the ceremony was over everyone had a chance to relax and have a good time…which they did!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the one on the right!

Below is another favourite. They’re both so wonderful.

On a beautiful day in July I had the pleasure to photograph Jenny and Mackie’s wedding. I was thrilled to be back shooting in Naramata. Jenny and Mackie were wonderful to work with and I’m not sure I’ve had a more welcoming bridal party. They offered to fetch me drinks and food on more than one occasion
Jenny definitely has a very supportive family and wonderful friends. So many tears were shed before the ceremony that even I got a little choked up when Jenny’s mom said bye to her as she was leaving for the ceremony.
During the speeches it was very apparent that they are very much loved. All the speeches were heartfelt and very meaningful. Dads speech to his little girl will be one of my all time favourite speeches I’ve heard at a wedding.
I’ve posted too many photos. I know that. I just couldn’t help myself. But c’mon….check out those shoes!!!

Uh, oh….Marilyn forgot her speech….She’s not adjusting, she’s desperately trying to find it!

No stranger to the blog, I took boudoir pictures of Cathie back in February… a few days later she found out she was pregnant
Before this baby makes it’s debut in October we wanted to capture that adorable belly and some pictures of big brother Mason!

And they say you’re not supposed to lift anything heavy when you’re pregnant! Pffft, mom’s of two know that’s never going to happen!

I love a preggo in stripes!

One of my favourite photos I’ve ever taken!

How cute are Cathie and Kul??? Love these two

Sessions where we trespass are always the best ones
